Lauren Spencer & Jean Abe
Lauren Spencer is a theater artist, writer, and teacher based in San Francisco. As an actor and director she has collaborated with American Conservatory Theater, Campo Santo, San Francisco Playhouse, Kansas City Repertory Theater, and Crowded Fire theater company among others. In the time of Quarantine, she has cultivated the art of baking imperfect breads and learning the ukulele. She is passionate about intergenerational story sharing and building community.
Jean Abe is a longtime resident of Berkeley, California. A self-described “hedonist,” Jean seeks out the pleasures in life whether that be through red wine, a beautifully made film, or time spent among Berkeley’s rose gardens. A dedicated aunt and friend, Jean values in person connection and adventure. She is an avid travel and appreciator of the arts. Her three rules for life are: 1. Don’t take yourself so seriously. 2. Forgive others. 3. Enjoy every experience.
