Ria Leigh & Meryl Juniper

Ria Leigh is a multidisciplinary artist dreaming at the interstices of mediums and methodologies. Her work straddles the concept-object continuum to conjure varied interventions inside & beyond the experience of consensus reality. These interventions have manifested as performance works, costume/fashion & textile design, immersive sound experiments and multifunctional sculptural objects. She is co-founder of creative entity Saint Profanus, which is currently in development on a forth-coming non-linear cultural archive / magazine entitled The Screen. She is presently planning her re-emergence from Marfa, Texas where she’s been in a state of rest and semi-seclusion for the past 3 years.

Meryl Juniper is an Artist & Master Arts Educator currently living and working in Corsegold, California. With her partner and collaborator Paul Human she offers Musical & Visual Arts education to encourage exploration and creative play in her community. She is steeped in the realms of ceramics, music, poetry, performance, eco-somatic practices & living Folk Arts traditions. Her life & work is informed through deep and continued synchrony with the earth and natural cycles via farming, natural medicine making, community collaboration and motherhood. Through her work and conscious engagement she endeavors to create multi-generational connections and new forms of partnership, collaboration & creative expression.
