Applications for ROUND 2, commissioned by Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, San Francisco (November 2017) are now open and will close August 20, 2017 at 11:59pm. 



We would love it if you’d apply to be one of our selected audience members.

If chosen, we’ll meet with you a few times. Maybe we’ll visit you in your house. Maybe we’ll go for a walk in your favorite place. Maybe we’ll take you out for ice cream.

We want to get to know you a bit. We want to look at things that you like and talk to you about what you love, hate, or dream about. 


Application Materials

Please submit four items, one in response to each of the four prompts. You will see that the prompts are vague. That is intentional—we want you to interpret them in whatever way that inspires your curiosity and creativity.

Acceptable formats are word docs, pdfs, jpegs, tiffs, gifs and pngs.


Step 2. 

Mail us a postcard in response to the prompt: “What happened?"

We are not looking for "the best" materials. We are looking to find a group of 12 people with something in common. We hope to gather 12 people who share some small or big thing. And we hope the performance work we create will speak to those commonalities.
